Templeton Stroke Recovery group went to Rocky Point Park, Port Moody, BC, Canada early last Saturday morning. We filled the big HandyDart bus. Four of our members were using walkers but the driver told us that he can carry only one walker. So, Ollie carried the other walkers in her van.
SRABC Branches were: Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam (co-hosted the event), Burnaby, Templeton.
Stroke survivors, caregivers, and friends walked around the park and the pier. Lots of refreshments after the walk and gave every participant, a bag of goodies.
Raffle drawn after the walk. Our Helen (Singh) won an umbrella.
Pajo's, famous for fish & chips was nearby and we tried their 'fish & chips.' It's wonderfulll!!!
